At 89, Dharmendra Marks World Yoga Day at His Lonavala Farmhouse with Actress Ekta Jain

Legendary actor Dharmendra, 89, proved once again that age is no barrier to health and vitality as he participated in a yoga session to mark World Yoga Day at his farmhouse in Lonavala. He was joined by actress, model, anchor, and influencer Ekta Jain, as the two performed yoga postures such as Anulom Vilom, Pranayam, and guided breathing exercises in a calm, natural setting.

The session focused on promoting fitness, mindfulness, and holistic living. Speaking at the event, Ekta Jain praised the veteran actor’s energy and spirit, saying, “Dharmendra sir mein bahut energy hai. He truly proves that age is just a number.” She also highlighted how yoga can play a key role in helping today’s generation maintain both physical health and mental balance.

Dharmendra, known for his simplicity and disciplined lifestyle, encouraged people across all age groups to incorporate yoga into their daily routine. “Yoga sabhi ko karna chahiye, for a healthy life,” he said, emphasizing its importance for long-term well-being.

Also present were veteran action director Mohan Baggad and his son Sonu Baggad, who is playing a negative role in Dharmendra’s upcoming film Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se. The film, produced by Ronnie Rodrigues under the banner PBC Motion Picture Pvt. Ltd., marks Dharmendra’s return to emotionally rich storytelling and has already generated industry interest.

Apart from yoga, Dharmendra also acknowledged World Music Day, which is celebrated on the same date, and spoke about the healing power of music, noting how both yoga and music contribute to a more peaceful and joyful life.

The intimate gathering at the Lonavala farmhouse served as a reminder that age, discipline, and passion can beautifully coexist—especially when rooted in traditions like yoga and the arts.
